International crafts and artisan network (ICAN Global) is a young organization which was established in 2018 by a group of distinguished Design Professionals enthused with passion for Indian crafts. We are a dedicated team of senior academicians who have worked towards careful planning of a holistic experience for craft lovers looking for specialized inputs in rich Indian Crafts. Besides offering Specialist craft experience in India, we offer door step opportunities for design schools looking for craft education in form of workshops and summer schools.
With a master’s degree in Human Development and a Diploma in Jewelry Design, she has also accumulated a Certificate in Retail Management from LDT Nagold, Germany and a DG lab certificate from Gemological Institute of America.
She is passionate and avid crafts lover and has been experimenting with, evolving through and discovering ways to make Indian crafts more meaningful. She is continuously working towards re-crafting and re-inventing heritage and antique jewelry in a contemporary mode. She is also been associated with QCI (Quality Council of India) as a consultant. QCI is a quality assurance body that awards and certifies institutions that can provide training for PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana)
As a facilitating educator she has had the privilege to start up and head institutions in capacities of Principal/Academic Head.
